SEQUENCE TURNOVER ARTIST

880 Productions NZ LP is the New Zealand-based Limited Partnership responsible for making James Cameron’s Avatar sequels.

The Lab Aotearoa is the Virtual Production department of digital artists tasked with weaving VFX and live action elements together to create the formal template for the Avatar sequels. Our focus lies in building the virtual world, characters and scenes using cutting-edge 3D digital tools, real-time rendering, performance capture and keyframe animation.

In Game Collectables

PLUGIN DEVELOPMENT

In Game Collectables partners with game studios to enable players to create physical once-off edition collectables of their customised, in-game avatars. We use cutting edge NVIDIA differentiable rendering tech along with Stratasys additive manufacturing to produce production quality collectables of in-game avatars. We have partnerships with NVIDIA AI, Callaghan Innovation and work with some of New Zealand's best game studios.

ATUA is an Augmented Reality experience which connects the physical, digital, and spiritual worlds through Te Kore - The Great Nothingness, the Empty Void.

ATUA premiered at Sundance Film Festival 2022 and has featured in DocEdge Film Festival 2022.
